If not on nameplate,then look under the out side cover for charging chart.

I dont use anything. Im just a homeowner that is learning from this site. I belieave the units will give you the required subcooling on the nameplate. Good Luck

Txv's should be standard. Your scale, gauges and themp probes could all be off. I dont know what other advice I can give you. Pull a vacuum, crack it loose and then charge by superheat.

your gonna need atleast the indoor wet bulb and outdoor temp to determine what your superheat should be.

I gave you very good advice on not trusting the manufactures charge and you blew it off.

Did the manufacturer of your outdoor unit way in the exact charge as what the name plate says?

I suggested a package unit because most mobile home blowers are very loud.

you can charge yours by superheat but if you have a system with a txv use subcooling, flip your chart over

Well no its not a txv any more. Its a home made metering device.

Yep its fixed, got 12degrees subcooling. Return air temp at plenum 74, supply air temp at plenum 50. Sure looks fixed to me.
