This kit has two pressure transducers that attach and plug into the tester. It also has a dry bulb thermometer, wet bulb - enthalpy sensor and a vaneamemometer.
HC Dukes in the Quad Cities is using it in lieu of helium testing. Major food chains are also requiring its use on new installs.

Yes we got the Yellow Jacket H2 donated to the school. Also got the gas and a fuel regulator.
Update. Hydrostar gas is becoming available. Airgas now carries the 5% methane 95% nitrogen mix. You may need a fuel gas regulator.
Check out Allied Electronics they have several sizes.

They can be used on heat pump reversing valves to see if slider is moving.

Cooper MFM 300 uses transducers that connect to gauge port even less refrigerant wasted than stubby gauges.
Welcome to RSES. I have enjoyed the education and friends that I have made since joining in 91

I found this tool helpful. The hose connection is 3/8 inch which fits most drain traps. You can fill with water and it creates pressure to force water through the trap and agitate debris to flush...
Isn't it hydrogen gas
I have the Yellow Jacket branded version of the DC 1200 that was mated to the Titan manifold. A Titan manifold should work for the AK900.
Try Allied Electronics. They are pretty good at shipping same day.
From what I have been told the Sporlan tool is for TXV gland nuts.

If you do small systems there is no advantage. However if you do systems that are wet or very large systems then the TEZ 8 is the way to go as you can monitor oil condition and change oil on the go...
You very may well consider adding:
Nylog
Small bottle of denatured alcohol to clean sensor
And from the replies you may find that there are things that you may want to add and others that you'll remove.
Way to XL.
The Copeland Scrolls will have a decal stating that it has a thermal device.
The new scrolls have a thermal relief valve. Once open it does the same thing as a pressure relief allows thermal overload to heat up and shutdown. The overload maybe resetting before the thermal...

Remembered taking this photo of Christmas ornament someone gave me. Do think it would make you a good avatar.
On Hoshi's monitor the water pressure when it goes into harvest. If it drops below 20 psig it may have harvest problems.
That is one thing that I didn't like.
Yellow Jacket uploaded a video of their H2 detector on You Tube

If you can get an air wand with a 90 degree tip it will be easier.
Try Viper Aerosol from Refrigeration Technologies. They list list it as safe for all metals. NSF approved for all food process areas. And the best thing there is no pungent odor like other aerosol...
Lennox uses the approach method in conjunction with subcooling for charging. Their approach temperatures are below 10 degrees. Check the installation instructions for Lennox AC units.
What is the LL approach temperature? Liquid Line temperature - Ambient temperature if it is pushing 10 degrees may be a dirty condenser coil. If coil is clean it may be non condensables.
Get in the habit of measuring SL and LL temperatures at condensing unit and at evaporator. It will reveal lineset problems.
Our summer class installed a 24.5 SEER iQ Drive in one of our class rooms. Compressor, condenser fan and air handler motor all modulate to load. We set the controller at 75 degrees and the humidity...
Sounds like an innovation for the Binford 5000 capacitor add on cooling fins. LOL
Years ago I heard from one of my employers that someone had called after having a new furnace install that it broke down and the installer would not answer phone calls. Anyway another company came...
Any Trane XV1500's still around?
You'll need to locate the condensing unit information on the required piston size. Have the correct size on hand. Pump the refrigerant back and check to see if the piston is either stuck and not...

Now how you can you bypass a pressure line with jumper wires? LOL:grin2:
YJ finally upgraded their Solars with transducers instead of bourdon tubes
The Yellow Jacket Quick Seal connectors are not recommended by Yellow Jacket for use on R-410a systems. One of my friends had one blow apart on R-410a and says he will never use them again.
