Have a room addition and need ductwork in slab. What are you guys using? 24 foot straight run into area and 8 run outs.
Mine still does it and its just20 ft away.
If the indoor unit I comfort capable it will work with a no communicating outdoor.
because the load is 26-27 k and the XC16 is 2 stage, thus runnign at the lower stage most of the time, with the duct change, etc I think you are on the road to comfort.
Its my understanding the blowers we are talking about are both high efficiency dc drive motors but the true v-spd has ramping profiles and the std ecm does not. More comfort specific with the true...
Explain to me how you pay for the rebates?
Sell the 95 furnace at a price that qualifies the buyer for the 1500 and then add an a/c to it. Seems simple to me.
FYI: also with lennox you can online register your equipment and get 10 year parts on DLSC, Elite and merit series equipment.
also you could go with a
XP14-036 with CBX32MV048 and get 15 seer,...
I believe your own research is incorrect.
The XP15036 with cbx32mv036 will net you 14 seer, 11.5 eer, 8.7 hspf.or when connected to the below air handler
The XP15036 with CBX32MV048 will net 15.2...
other advantages of zoning with dampers is cost of annual service agreement, humidifier, air cleaners....Only need one instead of two. Thats another grand and 1/2 for accessories and a couple of...
In my above post I stated harmony II and it should have been III. I am not sure of all the changes but the addition control that went on the wall next to the tstat is gone and it does dual fuel with...
I would go with the no bypass like the harmony III or infinity carrier. Just installed a Lennox harmony II and the H/O loves it. Much quieter than the old bypass and single speed he had before....
I also believe with on line regerstation Lennox has 10 year parts along with trane offering the same with on line.
The difference in the trane and lennox blower is....
The trane 4TEE is ECM (electronically commutated motor) with ramping profiles.
The lennox CBX27UH is ECM, withOUT ramping profiles.
So...
this old one for me has worked fine.....grille size x 2 = cfm. Example 30x20 grille 30x20x2=1200 cfm. I know all about rules of thumb and use them everyday for load caculating..ha ha.
what is the cfm/tonnage of the connected equipment?
your design conditions are listed as 75 inside with 91 outside summer design.....is that what you want the a/c to do on that 91 degree day? My design conditions in virginia beach va are 76/91....but...
I have a three zone upstairs damper system that has 3 rooms, each with their own thermostats and 2 bathrooms without controls. I have the bathrooms ducted from the main supply before any dampers. ...
i believe the reason for the banding is because the refrigerant is circulated thru the outdoor coil from a header pipe that allows for multi circuits of refrigerant flow which shows up as hotter and...

Isn't the domestic water heating capability for the 4 ton unit around 12 gallons per hr? If so the 80 gallon tank could be heated in just 6.66 hours. My feeling is the bigger the better.......
the old yorks were 20 plus years old. and all were running when replaced.
the first number "2" means r-22
the second item "T" means Trane if it was and "A" it would be american standard.
could it be scrollcompressor related?
well...2 flushed and 2 replaced. The flushed lines , one was in the slab and the other was 2nd floor and H/O did not want them runnung up the wall. The 2 others were had ahu in crawl and were easy...
I wasn't trying to bash anyone. It is in the "wall of shame" area and i was just commenting on what I could see in the photos.

That XL19 is a two speed with v-speed outdoor fan motor. Very quite.
xv95 gas furance and heat pump dual fuel. Non communicating. Customer could not justify the cost diff. Well the outdoor is but the furance and tstat are not.
Homeowner wondered what caused this to happen. Not a clue as to why. Then wanted to know why she should change the ODU when it works fine...but does not cool properly.
I am pretty sure the water flow must be 3/4 gpm to allow the water heater to fire.
straight heat pumps with v-speed air handlers. 2 in the crawl and 2 in inside closets. Sorry no inside shots. But here is the before shot of the outdoor units.
actually we went from pilot ignition gas furnace and a/c to 95% afue and dual fuel XL19i heat pump.
4 ton XLi replacement

Also note that the thermostat will take up to a week to provide maximiun comfort setting. I believe this is stated in the homeowners handbook. Give it time.
each cassette (air handler) has its own line set to the compressor.
Dan can you send him the HP pages, looking at the photo I see a reversing valve....It may look alittle different
thermal balance point= the outdoor temp when the hp can no longer maintain an indoor setpoint.
economic balance pt is when the dollar cost of running the heatpump and strip heat is more than...
yes the out side unit will run when 2nd stage aux heat is on. Remember the outdoor unit (ODU) is, at that time, doing all it can do to heat your home and since the ODU can't keep up the aux heat...

No disrespect to your salesman, as I am one also, but he needs to get his facts straight on what YOUR SEER is. Why do you think its called an XL14? Why do you think the next model up is called and...
15 SEER? Dont think so.....I do believe thats a 14 SEER at its best and you may have only a 13+ Lets see a coil model number....
its my understanding its averging days of recovery times. I believe I have read that it takes up to one week to fully adapt to your indoor climate.
in my area with lots of duct systems in the attic you can actually see each run out and register location by the lack of frost on the roof.
with the outdoor sensor installed and in the user setup mode you can set an outdoor temp that will lock out any aux heat, from recovery or manual operation, to the outdoor temp you want.
Usually...
