The crank case heater is an add on and is usually very clearly visible. It looks like a large diameter stainless steel hose clamp around the bottom and it has two wires coming off of it for power.
I read "For those afraid of heights."
And in my head replied "We salute you!"

It must have been a Home Depot hardware store. I heard all the studfinders hang out in the men's room.

In my day job, we have these huge battery stands. There are 24 batteries in each stand. They are about 6ft tall and abou 4ft wide and about 30 inches deep. When batteries go bad, they can experience...
I am not familiar with that unit. Is it side by side as opposed to over and under?
I keep looking at the picture and can not see what I am supposed to see.
A little on and a little off topic here.....
In the city I live in, a company tapped a water main for a new branch. The homeowners kept getting clogged plumbing. Turns out that someone had looped...
My first thought was "Do they get popped for theft, trespassing AND EPA fines?"
I like the idea of scrap laws. I scrap stuff all the time and they have quit asking for my ID. But the manager goes...
The last job I did, the customer had the cheapest grocery store air filter ever made. The dang thing wouldn't stand horizontal unless you used two hands to hold it on each side. There were actually...
Me too. I like that one.
My other favorite is "Since I was knee-high to a grasshopper."
You educated yourself. It may be a little late, but not too late. At least these issues can be addressed before you end up with some serious problems that were concealed or undiscovered.

Hey guys,
Intro post here...I have always been interested in all things mechanical. Working on cars has often been a necessity but a lot of hobby. Then I wanted to do my own A/C in my truck so I...
