    I had a simular problem with a york. I found it to have non-
    condensable in it . Removed all the charge evacuated and recharged. It ran fine. Good luck! Hopes this helps.

    You may have a dirty condensor coil,it will work o.k. in thelower temps but when the outdoor temp goes up the thing can't keep up. Did the tech have a gauge on the high side?
