I wouldn’t advise you go one on one with the contractor. Have someone else there that knows more about HVAC.

That unit is not designed to operate under those conditions. If there not going to maintain the minimum temperature required then they need a different heater.
Why did the motor have to be replaced?
You’ll save money in operating costs, but pay for it later replacing the unit. I wouldn’t recommend it.
