Mine is still holding up as well
Are you guys having trouble getting equipment too? Where are you located? I am in Jackson, MS.
This is not gas heat. It's DX cooling with no electric heat kit installed. Probably going to make a temporary cooing unit out of it. We are experiencing long lead times and I know we have some...
We will eventually need it somewhere. Cannot go that low. Just testing the water to see if anybody needs it.

Does anyone have the part number handy for the clear hose sold by Trane to check the oil level in a RTAC chiller?
One of my techs having the same issue today. How did you get it to stay on line? He cannot get it past 40% and then trips on low discharge superheat. We do know the chiller barrel is oil logged...

I don't understand why veto doesn't just build them with a high quality zipper to start with? Zippers are cheap.

I didn't custom order anything

I want to say I measured 27" but don't quote me in that

I can't remember the length. I measured the original zipper and ordered my new ones slightly longer. Then you cut to correct size with scissors. Easy [emoji1417]

Just as an update, my brass zippers are holding up great! I have several coworkers wanting me to replace the zippers on their veto pros. Haven't decided what that will cost yet? [emoji848]maybe...

Sorry to hear of your troubles Doug. I wish you the best. No doubt your product has been the best on the market so far. Sad to see the ak900 go.

I would do my homework on the oil before I changed oil type in any screw

This is an old thread, but is now more relevant than ever. At this point, I still haven't tried a retrofit, but I can see it in the near future. I still haven't heard of anyone else trying it either....
I use an altoids tin as well. Been doing that for many years

We are in dire need of experienced help here. Few going through school and many retiring. Pay scale varies from about $15 to $50/hr and it seems like that is increasing daily. Even though we are...

Just posting this to help someone else out. The flow is in the direction of the red arrow (dot faces into the flow). Seems like it would have been a lot simpler if there was an arrow stamped...
Love my AK900's. I still kinda chuckle when my coworkers have to send off their smans for repair (and my set is many years older).

I have seen this problem before and the compressor was fine. I'll give a hint. ABC

I'm just suggesting to blow any residual refrigerant away from sensor when removed from circuit. This is what I do with mine.

I know this sounds crazy but, ohm out your contactor coils. I bet one is shorted or open. I can't remember off the top of my head what the ohms should be. I see this often on a building I work on...
lightly blow across sensor after removing. Should quickly read atmospheric.

My bet is evap leaking. Just from past experience. Sometimes very hard to find with poe and 410a. Try putting trace of 22 in it to sniff out the leak.

I took a large schrader access fitting and fitted it to a 1 1/8" acr plug. Then added a ball valve for quick nitrogen release.
