I use fluke pipe clamp also. Works great. As for only going to 1' 1/8", Fluke makes another clamp that goes on larger pipe. I don't have it but wish I did a few times for those bigger 2" suction lines

Stay away from! JUNK! Had 3 of those fail in the last month all brand new pumps... 2 of them motors were junk and other one pump would only push water like 3 feet high.

TXV Problem, Airflow is good at 700 CFM for a 2 ton. Newer systems call 350 CFM better dehumidification. Seems stuck open.

Got a carrier 3.5 ton ac freezing up. Blower chart with static pressure at .9 (high I know)(-.6 return, .3 supply) show its pushing 1215cfm. .1 dro across coil it's an N coil.

Anyway...

Ok, so build a transition to fit the 20 to 21 inch coil. Why is that one spot so important? I mean I know need air over whole coil but that one inch?

That's another thing, the coil is 21" wide and the furnace is only 20" wide. So on the right side Of the coil over hangs the furnace 1". Crap install. 1" isn't much but maybe enough with that style...

Went to a job yesterday, had a 3.5 carrier r410a condenser single stage and a kenmore 100k btu 2 stage furnace. They had the system installed 2 years ago by sears. Never worked right sense...

And if the coil is dirty the air will be warmer than what it should normally be leaving the condenser fan? So I could do temp rise across coil.
