I've seen plenty of neg superheat on low temp racks during flood back situations!

I would check LLSV. Start compressor (only the troubled one) let it run for awhile. Then raise set point and watch it. See if it pumps down correctly.

Ok....If I have a contaminated system IE(.Burn out), I use the appropriate suction line filter drier and replace in a few days. They make them specifically for high moisture and acid exposed systems....

Still a bit low on charge I would say. Subcooling?

All the ones Ive worked on have been ccw to lower psi. That said, it's not a set in stone rule just my experience.

3/8" makes a difference for larger systems. A 2 or 3lb system 1/4" is fine. I work mostly on 50-1000lb systems so 3/8" is in my hands often. Core removal is also a must on recovery of large...

If you close the outlet of the receiver it all has to at some point go through the condenser.

Think about the cycle it'll work perfectly. I can pump a 400# rack down 99% in just a few min then...

I still stand by my method of pumping it down to the receiver. Simply close the outlet to the receiver and let it pump...

I see no reason why the refrigerant can't be condensed. The OP simply asked the quickest way to pump out a condenser.

Now if he asked the quickest way to pump out a condenser without fans.....

use compressor to pump into receiver. No faster way imho.

Installed a few and no complaints so far.

paragon has a new digital timer that replaces all the 8000 series so no need to carry multiple timers for paragon replacement. Also had a memory program that has 10 hrs of life after power outages....
