    Imperial iManifold Digital Refrigeration Gauge

    Mr. Bill,

SubCools was right on in his explanation.

When the evaporator coil saturation temp is above the dew point - no humidity can be removed therefor there is 0% latent load on the coil....

The capacity is correct. A portion of the systems three ton capacity is designed for a latent load. You have a 0% latent load.

Increase the airflow to 450 cfm/ton and your total capacity should...

Low RH of DA on new systems?

I'm not an expert in psychometrics but from what I understand:

The lower the supply humidity - the larger the coil bypass factor.

Yes it is. I assumed he was talking about the lag in Bluetooth. That's what I get for assuming things.

The wireless sensors are a slight bit slower but still react quickly.

Rick, you must be forgetting the meter clocking feature for furnaces! With the meter clocking feature, you can easily calculate airflow via the temp/humidity probes in heat mode on a gas furnace.

  18. Testo 435 is it worth it and reliable? Looks really neat for a mere $1495

Chaseair, if you looking for easy airflow and btu calculations then get the Imperial iConnect! The 435 is very German and hard to use.. The iConnect is easy and intuitive.

Your return air DB was below 70*. The iManifold/iConnect will not calculate airflow with such a little load on the evaporator.

  27. High-SEER heat pump outdoor units to fit narrow side yards?

    I would look into the Carrier 24VNA9 or 25VNA8 - it's a 18/19 seer 5 stage unit with a VERY small footprint. The 2 and 3 ton condensers have a 25" x 25" footprint.
