I am not talking about loosing the trap seal,but btu loss from an open ended pipe not in conditioned space,and then the resulting necessary infiltration to make it up.[That is cfm loss] We seal ducts...

How much air leakage out of a 3/4 line? I like the trap on all coils just for that reason .Boy it sure would be nice to have basements again!
