The LRA on the plate is what that compressor is tested at. I have seen alot of units run past that rating but not very long.
If compressor is pulling LRA then it needs to be replaced.

Yellow jacket makes ball valve end hoses, they are very nice. I think RE Michel sells them for $120.00
I used yellow jacket low loss hoses and had trouble with the high side too. I think the low loss ends are not made for anything above 325psi. I use there ball valve ends now and no problems
