Very interested in this topic. I am the manager of our building automation group. We have been using a product called TMS coming from our service background. Very DOS feeling. Not easily navigated on...

Wanted to update this thread. I spoke with JCI about the lack of user and they found the application was still available as a licensed option. We payed down the license and gained that level of user...
Awesome. Thank you

Thank you Klrogers. This worked on our bench 3.7 revision. Exactly what we wanted. The jace does in fact sit inside their network. Not accessable from the outside without VPN access.
On the same...
Question for the tridium gurus. Is it possible to have a hyperlink on a desktop or other and after clicking it takes you past the username and password on a jace? Straight to the home page?
We're...
Vm ware is your only sanity from here on out. Run as many virtual pcs as your hard drive will store and reduce the issues with software conflicts. Might not eliminate, but definitely a whole lot...
That would be great if you don't mind. Email is in my profile.

Just wanted to say thanks for this note. It was killing us with the reload each time. Some times taking forever to reload. Many thanks.

What state was this cabinet in? I believe we came across this install a few years back?? Central California

Lwarren, how was that using the modbus? We too have had a very high failure rate. Do you have the registers used to make up the point mapping? Looking to try this on the next one.

I wanted to follow up on this as it appeared not many had input. It appears that the ability to talk with either Ansi, ISO or both is based on the ability of the supervisor being used. Apparently any...
Correct. Each is a different character set of Bacnet. From our findings so far, they both cannot communicate on the same bus to a single supervisor. In our first case it was an Nae.
Just...
Question for the BACnet guys. We recently ran into an issue with bus communication on a Johsnon NAE when there was 1 ISO device and 1 ANSI device. Could not see either device while both were...
We just finished another install with this. Pretty slick.
In general I don't think it's terrible, some of the items were always options before. Now it's just set in stone.
For instance. The CO2 levels now are more specific. The CO2 sensors locations and...

For those of you in California...
Has anyone on the boards spent time digging into the title 24 new regulations now in affect? I am just starting to dive in deep and see many things others may not...
Do you guys have different brands of Bacnet thermostats for simple 2 heat 2 cool or similar applications? Looking for an alternative to the Viconics line. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Reaper- I just checked out our project for quoting. Looks straight forward. Everything fits on a 2621 and a 4711. Shouldn't be too hard. Probably 80% Q and A 20% custom. Customer was extremely happy...
On a similar thought (sorry small hijack) has anyone tried to freeze a PID when conditions are just right with a HOLD hybrid activity? I need to build a custom one.
Old post I know, but wondering if noskilltech did this retrofit. Looking to talk about it.
Mobile access we use verizon wireless USB set up on a static IP and Cradlepoint router. Then a remote mount antenna to get out of the room typically.
Recently we have been working with DDNS on a few sites. For $25 the customer can name his own site and port forward though the router. Haven't had much luck with DDNS credentials laying on the jace,...
Ok. We can work with that. I figured we would run them at the same revision to minimize issues. If there's any others that have done this, please chime in.
Jbeckham thanks
Does anyone know of an issue attaching 2 FX 60's and a Siemens jace 7 to an FX Server? We've used FX's before, just not a Siemens jace before. Any insight from the experts is appreciated.
That worked. Thanks N tech.
Just wanted to see if anyone has a way to import airflow setpoints to an FX jace? I believe there was a JCI bulletin a while back, I just cannot find it.
Thanks
I agree. This is a generalized alarm in a sense. Need to break down each of the possibilities.
Enable the BACnet ip comm on the site tab. Discover what you need and go to town. Haven't run into any typical issues yet.
Ecobee SI easy and done.
If this is the rebadged Danfoss, you will be fine.
Alright guys let me give this a try today. I know this is an older hvac pro file from an AHU controller we installed back in 08. Did the upload to most recent hvac pro. Something seems odd.
All,
It's been a very long time since we have used N2 devices on a jace. We generally run BACnet devices. This past weekend we were down to importing the last few devices on the jace. We attached...
Very curious about this also. Seems to be a bit confusing when setting up for the first time. It really shouldn't be too tough. Especially with all devices exposed on outside ip's.
How well does the Windows tablet do with Java? Or is it HTML5 only being used?
Any other solutions, or do we live in that odd of a climate where this is still useful?
Hey guys. We are currently using Viconics Bacnet VVT zoning for our layout and projects around here. I am wondering what other brands are out there that others have used with good success. Nothing...
Question for the Tridium guru's out there.... We are being asked by our customer to totalizer the amount of after hours kWh being used by their tenant. We currently have a few meters spread...
Hey guys,
I am looking to purchase a few carrier controllers but the local distributor is being less then helpful in getting back to me. Can anyone recommend a distributor they work with that we...
We just started with Bidtracer about 2 months ago. Took a little bit for them to finish up small details we thought were going to work smoothly otherwise we are already seeing the simplicity side of...
Sorry, PCA controller.
Just spoke to our vendor about this and the pcs controllers. Looks like the end of May for release right now.
Tuscon,
Is this a branch only tool or method?
Only SCT that I know of. Maybe someone else can shed some light.
We have several running on different VM platforms. No latency if given the proper processing, ram, etc.
If I'm following you correctly, someone from Emerson needs to drop the correct templates into the site link before you will get anything. They should also hand you the template in PDF so you know the...
These work well. But there's still a few buttons some customers just don't understand....
Yes likewise.
Thanks
