Is the blower compartment down stream of the cooling coil? If so, the upper humidity limit of 90% will be exceeded.
Is the controller very close to the blower motor and/or is there a motor speed...
Of the items you listed, not all of them are 'told' what to do by the controller. Some are inputs that 'tell' the controller what is going on in the world outside of the controller.
DP sensor,...
I used the Honeywell TR20 series a while back without any issues.
The display can't read an SD card greater than 2GB...
6 = +15Vdc

If the RTUs have a small display in them, the procedures in this manual should be of help. You can also use a York branded MAP gateway.

If the N31 has a LAN card then it's pretty easy.
Use Site Builder to create a site with an ethernet connection.
Open Project Builder, add an N31 Controller, edit the name to match the one you want...
JCI has been using those designations for at least 35 years. Why change something that works for them and causes their competition some grief.
This question has been asked here a couple of times in the past with no responses. It appears that York made no attempt to add integration capabilities to this product line or if they did, the...
JCI sells a PCV1626 without the airflow sensor. There are canned commercial zoning files for the PCVs and PCG that work pretty well out of the box.
BCI-I is the way to go IF the unit supports it. In other words, not all Intellipacs can be converted to BACnet communications. Give your local Trane rep the serial number and they will tell you if...
No. The vast majority of our controls customers have mechanical service contracts with the company. The labor to install the updates is charged off to the service agreement.
Usually five year SMAs.
A Viconics 8600 series room controller with some custom Lua programming might do the trick.
The title says it all.
Good fortune to you all in 2019.
Change it; the shield should be grounded at only one point. If the transceivers are three wire capable (they have a common) then upgrade the wire as well.
Other things to consider that generate...
Radwell may give you a few bucks for it.
Ain't that the truth.
Thanks FG and kp. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Many ways to skin a cat in AX or N4. Here's some logic that will do what you want; it enforces a two degree spread. (two states shown, only one logic group required per set point pairing) If you...

Put an email address in your profile so I, and maybe others, can send you some pertinent info. on AX and N4.
That is my understanding of how it works. FWIW, JCI uses different part numbers for initial purchase SMAs vs renewal SMAs; pricing is the same.
Good to know.
To the OP, TU is more expensive than Rover....
I've heard horror stories of $4k; ultimately it will be up to your friendly Trane dealer.
The fix was to upgrade the firmware from 5.3 to 6.x.
The software is called Rover. It is not cheap.
JCI had an issue with short duration, power outages locking up programmable controllers. It was fixed 4-5 years ago.
Having those addresses in use dealt me a fit one time.

With a few blocks and totalizer extensions, create a pulse train as input for the SlidingWindowDemand block.
Steam demand/totalizer --> Convert to kWh --> Greater Than to reset steam totalizer...
Here's one by Honeywell.

As orion suggested, use two. We have the remote dp reset the set point of the pump dp. If the network goes down, the pump maintains the last valid set point.
Ya know, that's basically what the JCI tech rep that ended up on site said. After a couple of attempts, he was as befuddled as we were.
We recently had one that wouldn't respond to the default password. It took about six resets before it actually reset.
Not really controls related, but handy to figure out if the process you're trying to control has any chance of actually working.
Q = 1.08 x CFM x delta T (Imperial units)
Q = U x A x delta T...
Considering the field device trunk is landed on the isolated COMM3 port, I'd say COMM3.
The comm cards in the Intellipaks may have a COMM4 option.
Switch high means the CO triac will control 24V Hot. Switch low means the triac will control 24V Common. The only difference is in the external wiring; the CO is a stand alone triac when use for...
We had issues with CCN (RTUs and VAVs, no chillers) and 4.3; problems went away with 4.4 upgrade.
"When this actuator is used with a DDC controller, it is important to program the controller's output to provide a minimum control span of 4.5 to 11.5 Vdc, to assure full travel to each end of the...
Configurable Output (0-10Vdc or triac) hardware point.
Wait a minute. TCP/IP = TC/I ; the protocols cancel. :grin2:
After mucking around trying to write to the UPC, we ended up changing the condensing unit configuration to follow a 4-20mA signal for staging and hardwired the input to the AHU controller.
I don't know about the OA sensors, but the room and duct sensors are not thermistors.

Contrary to what JCI instructors say, PCT/CCT is all about the green triangles.
Yes,
Johnson has canned routines that can be downloaded that are called Commercial Zoning Application.
Thanks, bolt
You mention using a jace, which KMC offers, but I don't see any drivers listed for their proprietary protocol.
How is the Web Portal interface once it's configured by Total Control?...
I have a customer that has tired of WinControl and would like something less clumsy to use. For example, they have several NiagaraAX systems and like that user interface.
Their system is comprised...
Take a look at the OP's profile. Joined on the 4th, made one post and hasn't been back since. Obviously not interested in the discussion or is possibly following the discussion under a different name.
14.4 (4.4) wizards were released last month.
JCI uses rebadged Distech products for their Lon offerings.
The LX wizards are available for N4 as a download off of the Connected Community site. Maybe the jar files are part of that package.(?)
