Ran a Zurn coal fired, traveling grate, 80,000 PPH boiler for 15 years.
Talk about labor intensive...a 12 hour shift by yourself and you were spent at the end.
Just transferring coal from silo...
Didn't know we could count ourselves.
1st job was to check moisture of coal from rail cars coming into steam plant, 1970.
Marter, Papa jo, can we stop working now? or is there a clause I missed...
Had this since the 70's, protected it due to the glass.
( came with a spare 'sock' )

Go to the ferris web site. There is a section about replacment cards.
They ask for your name and social security number. ( It's filed under your SS # back then).

I've been working a rotating shift for over 16 years now.
Don't know a normal sleep cycle.
Sleep about 4 - 6 hours at a shot.
Have a 'sleep' room. Dark, fans, white noise, etc.

We also use a plate and frame when the OA temp allows. It is set up to switch at 38 F.
