I've seen the relay in the top of those fail, but never one that bad. Is it possible there was something else wrong with it, like a weak run capacitor or using too small of a superboost, maybe short...

I think in the long run a cheapo Chinese nitro charge condenser would be cheaper in the long run. It may be cheaper upfront to go with the used hp, but they are going to be real upset if it breaks...

The zeolite in an oxygen concentrator only absorbe nitrogen, which makes up roughly 75% of air. I guess its possible that its also concentrating trace amounts of gas, that's kind of a reach though....
