The cost of living against the wage doesn't seem unreasonable at all a two bedroom house where I live now would be anywhere near 1600/month
It can be a tough go that's for sure, like frozen_ocean said it's worth it in the end if you can stick it through!
Is that enough to have a decent quality of life? I guess what I'm getting at is in Alberta Canada we make just about double that per hour but our cost of living is through the roof so you can see...
What does a technician typically get paid in this part of the world?
IMO, moving away from BC and heading to Edmonton or Calgary to do your ticket is the way to go. Tons of work in Alberta and plenty of companies with varying portfolios to learn from
