yes , it's a brass fitting with 1/8 female ips for the guage and 1/4 male flare for the hose........Jack

oh yea , i did this trick on a 5/8 tube imbedded in concrete for radiant heat....worked great....use minimum of 15% silfos , used correctly it flows like butter.....Jack

one use for a 24 hr. watch is in buildings under construction , un occupied , with the heating system on & circ hot water......if a boiler fails it could be a total disaster with a muilti story...

in the 'olden days' when i was working on oil burners , the oil suppliers would come and pump out your trouble tank for a small fee and you can clean or replace it.....the oil suppliers would work...

how about a small heat-x at the evap coil inlet and keep it filled with that condensate at a controlled rate , any body ever tried that..?? i got an ad from a coil co for a sub cooler that mounts to...

if in fact it's a o a inlet it could be loud judgeing from the size of it , especially in an economizer mode with 100 o/o oa......prob not an exhaust so close to the window/door.....Jack
