cr123 gives higher voltage and (in many lights) this will mean higher output.
They also cost more and may be hard to find in your area. I've got a bunch of cr123 lights and like them...

If you have to go detachable Zebralight makes good products. Armytek also makes lights in the same format.
For just a straight up headlamp I don't see myself giving up my Petal Myo (R)XP any time...

No impact, compact, high RPM, lots of torque. Has a chuck so I can use my step bit as well.

The SC56 reads micro amps just fine, but only in the micro amp setting. If you turn the switch to read amps from the clamp it breaks the connection and the furnace will stop on a 'no flame' error.
