Actually an N2 connection has more capabilities than a zone bus connection, you can access all controllers on the N2 bus. I like the idea with the field made cable.

What does Acutherm recommend?, it should be spelled out in their installation specs. Every manufacturer has this type of tech data, if they don't recommend shielded cable then I wouldn't provide it.
