Yes you can try to open the EXV, where was the chiller made there are several versions of the XA chiller made in France and the US all with different style controls.

Your HP problem is being caused by EXV not opening correctly. Micro channel coil chillers can't do pump down hence your high pressure. Check your EXV board and EXV. Most likely the board.
