i bought a set and then 2 other techs in our company bought sets...we are very pleased with them so far!

tape is horrible, not needed on a new unit, especially a Trane/American standard....we also have to hang the units as well as the drain pans. You should have made a proper transition for that supply,...

well luckily for him it was just a 1 1/2 ton fan coil unit for a 50 ton chiller...he would have just gotten some stiff nipples...

the equipment is only as good as the system design and install...you can have the best equipment in the world and it will be junk in 3 years if not installed right or used in the correct...

i agree that it is more likley to be a capacitor or fan motor...definitely call a tech out since he will have the proper knowledge and tools to diagnose it(well hopefully at least)lack of airflow...
