So what you are saying is keeping the head pressure hi by shutting the fan off you get better efficiency out of the unit. So why should you not do this to all the units.

What is the purpose of putting a hi pressure switch on the cond. fan to turn on and off depending on the hi pressure? I have ran across a few of these.

I called techsupport and he said it was was the txv in the condensing unit. All I know to do is evacuate the system replace the txv and pull vacumm and recharge. Thanks for your in put.
