I used to love using bungie cords but in arizona they only last a couple of weeks in the summer.
At least it held for a while. Lol. Just crazy!
Yeah I try to make it a habit to replace the check valves and driers if I have any suspicion of a restriction.......Especially on those Carrier package heat pumps with the header metering device.
I'm pretty sure those check valves have screens in them.
thats just wrong.
Looks like a DSC service call.
wow. stuff like this just doesnt suprise me anymore
Reminds me of those dreadful apartment complex mechanical rooms
Thought some of you guys might appreciate this picture. 1964 Trane chiller still putting in some work. Been updated from old pneumatic controls to new Trane panel. Performing a leak search and...
Seems like maybe the IFM wasnt programmed/wired correctly at start up.
I contacted sporlan and they gave me a part number. Then I went to parts house (American Refrigeration Supplies) and ordered it. I received it pretty quick.
Ill look around to see if I have...
i always ordered mine directly from sporlan
what a pain in the a55 it is to replace those coils but i was able to fix the leak just for temp cooling till i recieved the warranty coils. its funny...every single coil had a refrigerant leak....
And maybe a airflow issue. That 52 degree suction line temp sounds sketchy with high sub cooling.
Is your compressor over amping? Sounds like you have a restriction with a overcharge.
Carrier micro channel coils are keeping me pretty busy these days.
Nah man sorry.
Lol. Wow that's messed up
This clown hear even has a video teaching customers how to replace condenser motors.
There's some hack here in Phoenix that pulls that crap. Of course he's gonna save the customer money if he has no overhead. Damn hacks !
thanks for posting these cool pictures. most of been a nice job
Nope the ball bearing would not move...... also ran numerous test on the IGV it would not respond at all.
The IGV was stuck at 20% it would not open or close.
I just realized I posted in the wall of shame Can someone move it to the commercial forum.
This was my first repair on a turbocor compressor. The IGV on compressor #1 stop responding.......couple months later compressor #2 IGV stop responding and got stuck in a fixed position just like #1...
Damn what a mess. Are you even able to remove the blower door panel? Looks pretty tight
