LOCHINVAR.. DUMP SPELL CHKR...I have 8 boilers with 1 protonode each, I can discover them under my MSTP network in my jace, but when I drop them they immediately turn yellow and go off-line. I have...
Ahah How do we reach out to the rookies?
Does everyone realize there is a sub-category under controls for individuals looking for a job?
I like your idea of the wire numbering.
I just spent time setting up a Visio template that uses an externally linked excel sheet/s to paste the points (or type) them in. Then when you update the...
Do it almost everyday. Easy to bring in and work with. only issue is that Reliable won't allow a "set" to a variable set point to priority 10. If you want a work around email me.
Yaskawa is now selling the z1000, the E7 is obsolete as of recent I believe, But regardless it can do both as mentioned on E7
Purchase the network tool and you can view modify list.
You really don't get what this forum is for do you? Well none is will waste anymore time with your BS, bye now!
And a Jace based318181 before wire trays covered.
Here's a panel318171
Send me an email and I will send you the bog file.
Joey, wavy wavy dude!
Bit rusty on JCI. Doesn't the Gx9100 program come on HVAC pro disk?
You did try power cycling? If that does not work you will need to use HVAC PRO and an N2 to serial or USB to tap in and see if dead.
I have a MS grad working for us, email me if your interested in Windy City
Hehe LOL. you might just need them someday!
Point count versus cost, Jace with Ndio wins I believe when wiring into 80 plus points and linking in another couple hundred thru its client / server...
A boiler plant is not a mission critical system, likewise with chillers applied to HVAC and not process. I use Jaces for both plants with complete success.
I don't pretend to do NASA control....
That's why a GOOD engineer programs to detect mismatch between output cmd and status feedback. :-0
TO each there own, I get my fair share based on happy customers!
Actually 66 I/0 remember 34/16/16 but I am also using Nrio (1) module. 312431
Also 2mstp trunks talking to VFD pumps, gas booster, and Modbus trunk talking to 4 RM7800s, and remember the NRIO port
Your right! SORRY for off topic. If you need any help OP send me an email with exactly what you need to do.
I might add I told the MC to hold back money from them on another project. They will be getting back charged for the 80 plus wasted hrs. Wasted hours we could have been productive elsewhere.
I am...
We just abandoned the S-LINK ran a new network wire and we are talking just fine thru Modbus. How the hell they get away with bull crap like this amazes me. Wait till they get MY BILL, yes that's...
Ohh, also talking BACnet MSTP to three VFDS for pumps, one gas booster VFD and Modbus RTU to 4 RM7800 burner controls.
Let's pull that off with one PCG, not JCI. Bashing, I use them when I need...
I would love to see you do 75% of the work we do with a unitary type controller, no way could you meets specs or even I/o count. Doing a boiler plant right now with 80 some I/o.
When doing plant control, I strip the Jace down to bare bone, no weather service, no web pages, no report service, etc, etc. I leave the CPU time to its needed function, MY PLANT CONTROL.
Do you have the VykonPro jar? If so there is a nice sequencer in there that you can pass staging values to. Modulate after the stage lights off with a loop control
Just keep at it. Get use to navigating around in ProBuilder. The Demo is your best friend, dive in and enjoy. Remember when using it local it won't go BOOM!
If you can it would be well worth it, see of you can get Probuilder for your laptop also! Use the quick start guide in PB.
U must be a Lynxspring noob!
I use AX to control just about anything out there in our HVAC world. I have extensive wire sheets performing complex control strategies on critical system. Give me a break on AX negative comments....
We have done several modbus rtu integrations into the ARECO BMS and it also passes thru and you get the data out of each boiler!
I don't want to engineer it for free (time to figure it all out)...
Me too! Thanks in advance!
Are all RTUs using the same controller?
Well here it is 3 weeks later, still no response from manufacturer. My Mechanical Contractor has asked them to respond, still nothing. My Tech emailed them last month, no answer.
Still have the...
Yes, we do that all the time, just don't use 24vac that is on/off a lot (switched loads)
Well you can tell that I am really pi**ed off, but I think that I have the right to blast their butts, when this saga has been going on for three months! How long a time before the manufacturer...
Well finger pointing between whom knows, humm, all I know is two of my well seasoned techs have spent over 100 hours (out of my pocket) trying to get integration into 11 York RTUS complete with no...
Are you seeking a grounds up grainy in controls? Is so PM me.
Well I received the Demo kit, yes assembly required!
Kit included:
VAV CONTROLLER with integrated motor and flow sensor, has Zigbee, and EnOcean wireless antennas, second controller same as first...
I hear you, and unfortunately most of the times it is the installation/programming, not the product! :gah:
We have a new guest, and this is the response you give?
I have never used KMC, but I am a Reliable Controls dealers, KMC & Reliable use the same programming language, so I can comment on that...
Where do you find Finders? Cliché ! Seriously though when do you buy them? Cost?
I would be happy to donate a few gig on my FTP site for Visio lovers to share! Let me know, I think I have all the eSnip files also. If a bunch wants, i' ll get it set up!
Joey, I have done AX modbus RTU to Honeywell S7800/s flame safeguards, Fireye E110, Areco BMS, individual Areco boilers, Yaskawa drives, Danfoss drives, Carrier chiller via TRANS485 cards, Veris...
Joey, give me call tmrw or frid
Agree that it is much easier (some mfgrs) to diag GPL, but the screens get pretty busy, I think if I can replace 30 or more objects with one program line, that's a plus. Each has it's strength I just...
