I recently had this same problem on a york rtu. It boggled my mind for a while. The installers put the vent pipe before the trap. The negative pressure from the return wouldn't allow water to drain...
We are the local york dealer around here, the 9 blink lock out (high limit or roll out open) is pretty common on the yorks, especially the sunlines. If I remember correctly, yorks "answer" the...
I've had alot of luck leak testing with nitrogen and a trace amount of r22. Maybe 4-6 oz. My leak detector loves r22!
Mike19 is right on the money. Condenser fan control, just set your cut in and cut out points and you're good to go. See it alot in process cooling.
For information on the technicians license check the recent newsletters (also listed on the website)
I agree, it's illegal and a liability.
But let's say for the sake of argument you evacuate a system, it's not under high pressure anymore. So how much propane will be left in it? Would the flame...
which technician brazes before recovery of refrigerant?
I'm not trying to be a smart ass here, but how many homes have propane piped in 1/2 copper? I've come across many gas leaks before that were in a crawl space with a furnace or an attic with a furnace...

One sick photobucket account
Congrats Joe is this a union job? The reason for asking is straight out of tech school I was offered $11/hr as an installers helper in a non-union state. Seems like you union guys have it pretty good!
Riddle me this:
Why is it that one can charge a heat pump in cool mode, it runs fine all summer. Then come winter time, the system performs poorly, produces symptoms of overcharge, then performs...
