If there was a restriction in liquid line wouldnt there be frosting? -

As far as kinks and bends I did not see any. No frosting on liquid line.

I have only dealt with air conditioning in Phoenix, half of them are no where near sealed. Also I wouldnt really know about other climates.

One of my employees purchased one a week or so ago. The display looks great real crisp. But he told me it takes 2 AA batteries, not sure of battery life.
