You cannot simply lower the thermostat in a walkin cooler and get a freezer.
Double and triple check your info. Do you really have a 1/2 horse compressor running with 9oz of 134a?
If no flow. Then the evap has no pressure drop.
If you break ''N'' you may skip a defrost and create a freeze up situation since the unit timer will stay running. You will have no problem when you break #4 in a unit that has all the heater...
With OSHA there the GC should have told everyone on site to exit the building and they will be informed when the elevator dismantled and openings secured.
Download the wire nut app. Then you can disconnect them via Bluetooth.
The thermostat wire is too small or the run is too long.
That is not "wall of shame" material.

"The "orifice" hole opening in the suction "U bend"(inside the Accum) is for OIL return mostly, even though liquid freon can be returned thru the U bend opening on occasion's."
VTP99 "...
The true purpose is to meter any liquid collected through it"s orifice into the compressor. If you want to see it at work, look at a CVD condensing unit (preferably an 1800 or 2000 lb unit) after...
The system you were repairing was cycling on the low pressure switch and now your vacuum pump is pulling some oil out.
Does that unit have an hex nut fitting before the distributor? If so, there is a swage connection about 2.5 inches before the fitting,Unsweat the the connection and under the nut there is an orifice...
At least its owned by an American company. What good is Made in America but owned by another country?
Look carefully on the flat sides of the expansion valves, the valve model, refrigerant, external equalized if so and size is stamped there.
vicegrips --- ok?
Why a drier? when a suction filter with a by-pas was made specifically for use there.
Accumulator (at/under the base)
check your contactors & other loads.
Are you looking at a Universal Nolin condenser? Made somewhere around the70's / 80's.
Just for general info.
I had two 410 and one blend tanks like that. I had them separated, until my recycle guy got the 410 ones.
Be careful and listen for any and all unusual sound around you.
Partial discoloration because the motor does not occupy the entire shell.
All it means now is other countries using Americans to boost their economy.
Like someone said, It's a loss of charge switch. When you loose some charge, you loose liquid line pressure. The switch lets the board go into low pressure lockout.
Off topic... Please don't let your phone out live you.
Maybe they spent 1.1billion and hired 2500 people just to make Americans happy.
When you bought the Honda a major deposit was made to Japan's economy and a smaller deposit will be made with every OEM part purchase . Do you think it is necessary for Americans to support foreign...
I was in the same position -. I quoted a Fredrich unit and stated in the quote it was made in the US and also Owned by an American company.
You guys may not know the names or places mentioned but you will definitely understand.https://youtu.be/uwwxmKzDjng
May Hussmann or Tecumseh knew that scroll is defective.
That will be either a 1'' or 1 1/4'' rotor lock to 5/8 sweat valve.
Long before those came on the market I used contactor lugs from mainly honeywell 40A contactors. They had a "v" under the screw so the wire and the pin stayed in place.
A check valve at that location prevents rapid pressure drop in the receiver when the fan turns on [no reverse flow]. When the exp valve does not see the wide fluctuation in pressure it can better...
It's too late now but you could have installed a check valve between the tee and the receiver.
What your total amperage in defrost? With heaters on and compressor pumping down you may trip the breaker. If this happens you will need a relay or an auxilary on the contactor so they both don't run...
You haven't heard of wireless contactors? Now you know.
You appear to lack heat rejection capacity in high ambient conditions. What can be done is 1 add electric fans to assist in cooling. 2 you can install a larger condenser or 3 replace your...
just call a pro.
Model #s please?
I'm in exactly the same position. I quoted a Friedrich unit and informed them that even if the unit is made elsewhere the company is American owned. They did ask about Goodman and trane units, I told...
(Did someone) I am sure that valve did not screw itself that bad. [QUOTE=UmmScott;20719611]Did someone else in the past crank on them too hard?
P4 pressure was considered negligible untill recently when someone noticed the pin point was replaced with a larger odd shaped stem witch offered a small pressure that assisted in opening these...
Get two service valve wrenches and open both exactly the same amount at the same time. If you think you messed up close valves and repeat untill you get it right, then start unit.
Treat it like a walking freezer. Install a door switch (sealed weather proof) to break both the fan and the thermostat circuits.
Three from two manufacturers, all OEM.
All your symptoms pointed at it, you just need to read the signs. You are well come.
You can safely eliminate them. There will be no noticeable effect seen on the unit.
Look at the back top right of the board, you will signs of overheating.
Did you check for a heat exchanger in your piping?, your case was built when these were common. While you are at it , take the unit apart and wash down the entire unit, get at all the baffles.
When those were new on the market, I had fun for an entire month with a know-it-all supervisor who couldn't find the leak.
Since you are on that unit, do you know where the pressure relief plug is?
