More air flow=lower td.
Less air flow=higher td.
Good info but you "ADD" 14.7 or 15 to your gauge readings to get atmospheric pressure, then divide discharge PSIA by suction PSIA for compression ratio.
j-mart didn't have any fieldpiece or testo anemometers in stock, so the uei dafm3 was the winner. It looks and feels cheap- hopefully it works out!
Ive been thinking about buying a uei dafm3 or a fieldpiece aav2 head for checking cfm. Are either of these anemometers worth getting?
232v x 41a =9512w
9512w / 1000 =9.512kw
9.512kw x 3412.142 BTU/hr = 32,456BTU/HR
sorry for the wrong info- ive had a long week and sleep deprived. good luck :gah:
You should also have a sh over 10 degrees.
I don't thinks its an airflow problem because your td is on the lower side.
0 SH? Evaporator is starved. Look for a restriction in liquid line.
If you have a 25*f delta t then you probably have an evaporator icing up. Is the compressor off on low pressure?
2012 irc # m1502.4.1. Dryer exhaust must be smooth interior finish, 4" dia and constructed of metal. Looks like you have to install a new dryer vent.
CFM * 1.08 * delta t = Btu/hr
33°f deta T= air flow problem. Psi was dropping because the evap wasnt absorbing heat.
No worries, I appreciate the help. This is the full reply email that I just received from robinair when trying to get the specs. What a joke!
"This pump come from China and they do not give us...
Well its not 1/2" npt. Its to big.
Thanks Leigh. It looks like 15500 is smaller than 7/8.
I called robinair product support and they couldnt find the inlet size- go figure. Same with aa. I ordered a 1/2" npt 1/2" flare tee off fleabay for 6$ to give a try. If it doesn't fit, no big...
I called aa but they were closed. Ill try again wed. Thanks for the help!
Hey hvac5646- Im in Livonia enjoying the heat wave. Just checked my yj hoses, the're 1/2" flares.
I have a robinair 15500 that im looking to up size the tee for 1/2" hoses. Any one know what size and thread type fits inside the vacuum pump? I thought it was npt, but might be acme?
It could be worst... At least its not snow.
Looks like the flowmeter is on sale at Johnston for $23. Great price!
Thank you Jim.
Any one have accutools phone# handy? Looks like accutools website is down today.
Thanks for the replys. Im surprised they sell the kits with out arresstors or checks included. I think im going to go with a cutskill with the smaller sized j torch handle. It looks like uniweld...
