I always put a float switch in. That way if something like that does happen for any reason I clearing a drain and vacuuming the pan not fixing sheetrock.

They were most likely covered in salt water the coil is going to fall apart

If there is no information available on the machine you can call your local dealer with tghe model number and serial number and they can tell you what capacitor should be on there.
