Also, make sure to use Hoshizaki's bearing check tool (basically a paperclip that's to their specs). If any water gets in there and starts to freeze, it'll cause an issue as well.
I'm pretty sure that you're thinking of CO (carbon monoxide), not CO2 (carbon dioxide).
