Kowboy....you want it on all the time. if you cycle it on and off with the equipment you will lower the life expectancy of the ballast assembly. Same as a flourescent light.

Eco-Quest and the Guardian / Air Knight are 2 different products. Eco-Quest was made to have some ozone output. The Guardian and Air Knight do not have Ozone output as part of it air purification...

CE Wayne is correct! The Guardian is also available now in a 24 volt model but the Air Knight includes the 40va low voltage transformer and wire nuts in the box with the unit.
