If possible(motor is good and belt)the free wheeling fans,
usually spin backwards.Turn the fan on, then off,and wait for wheel to stop.

ive never seen boilers installed outside.

i know that even the slightest of wind currents(such as
strong outside winds blowing thru fresh air openings,with
no ducting)will effect the combustion...

if equipped with economizer,checkout the enthalpy control.
a few times ive seen this control short out/loose circuitry
causing low contactor voltage/chattering-contactor/compressor on/off/on/off...

i went on a tour if an ammonia refrigeration plant once.
i coudnt believe the size of these compressors.
there was a service guy working in the sump of one of them.
they were using chain falls for...

has al bundy put it-peg,i almost drowned in the pools of sweat,bettween the folds.

with these larger servers.size the multi ton chiller accordingly.
