How are you getting a HSPF number when this isn't a heat pump system? Since this isnt a HP you need to meet the 16 SEER 13 EER requirements. Also, the 24APA5 is not a two stage condensing unit.

See if your contractor has access to the ADP "C" coils. If so you can use a standard type FAU with the following ARI combination #3325427:

Either 2,200 or 2,000 CFM. The model number with the 20 is incorrect. The current model numbers are 58CVA155---1--22 or 58CVA135---1--22. The only 2,000 CFM is the 58CVA110---1--20.

Are you are talking about the new "C" evap coils? They are good... built better than previous ADP coils. Just take the sizes in consideration when installing them. The upflow coils are 31.5" tall.
