Sounds like it is a stat issue. What kind of stat are you using ? Older mercury stats have a heat antisipator adjustment. Best to replace if this is the case.

There is no way stove is operating properly with 1.5" wc. You have 12" before or after reg on the house ?? as stated above, you may be double reged. How old is the unit ? gas line could be sludged up.

Why not ask some of the guy's you work with.?? Or throw it around next time your at the supply house.?? DIY ??

There is no way to wire board wrong. Only spade connections are for the transformer.

you have flame rollout caused by venting or heat exchanger. If venting is sized properly and heat ex is good, than I agree with extending vent another couple feet. Also could be a weak rollout switch.

Check heat exchanger & venting for blockage. But most likely not a slow opening valve. :.02::cheers:

No big deal Papa, as long as you can get gas line there and liner ( or 2 ) down the chimney. You might want to get 120V up there as well if you go with fan option. You have a on/off switch on...
