Very slowly. I think I charged it to around 20 deg sat temp on the suction.I would have rather undercharged it a bit to keep the head pressure down. The head pressure was very high.

Part 2 could be a frozen coil or evap fans are out.
Don't think it is a compressor. If it was a compressor going bad you would have high suction and low head pressure.
It sounds like 4 things.
1) evap is frozen up.
2)evap fan motor is bad
ON flares I will use a little bit of nylog (AKA monkey snot)
On compressor head fittings I will use teflon with monkey snot.
