The last thing it needs is more compressor capacity
A reciever with lo ambient hot gas bypass...a proper low ambient control.
Looks good. Great idea on swapping out the old supplies.
Strange . Is the old one two separate sections? What is the new one ?
Yes Coleman is made by York and that is a pretty nice little unit there. I asked about the heat pump because you are doing all this work and why not spend just a few hundred more and have it heat a...
I plan on doing one pretty soon because I love mine and you are right they are nowhere to be found on youtube
It's a pretty neat control it makes install a breeze and if you aren't familiar with these units it's easy to not have it 100% right. I'm a little surprised you didn't buy the heap pump unit since...
You meant to say not ideal? Because I wouldn't say ideal..
Double the amount of freon in liquid line though and York says never do this on a heat pump - too much refrigerant in heat for accumulator. Do you agree with them?
I'm assuming this case is a...
If you route the lineset up against the rafters and then down to the airhandler you have created an inverted loop. Did you get the communicating thermostat? Which one

May I recommend Harry Dicksons eyehose charging assembly ? Brand new DIY charging procedure.
I think twv30 was a dedicated vertical apartment style. Most likely a 16x25 possibly 16x20
Buck-boost transformers take awhile to figure out. Was the pump a ECM motor? I have seen what appears to be transformer on furnace ecms occasionally .
That's a dang good design of a little package unit too. Esp gas packs. Kudos you old school Amanda engineers.
