getting the posting in to ask useful questions, what's wrong with that?

What will my fieldpiece display when i'm checking for a grounded winding to the housing if the compressor is bad?

What should the ohm reading display on my fieldpiece meter when the l1 l2 or l3 lines are bad?

Do i check the l1 l2 and l3 lines in for infinity on my ohm meter? Do i listen for a tone?

The line in l1 l2 l3 must be checked with a megger for current draw and be within range?
