I have seen 2 inch filters at Home Depot, although most of their stock is 1 inch. You can also get 2 inch filters online. Most people here aren't big advocates of 1 or 2 inch filters.....

I guess I should have added this comment: if a component fails, it has a tendency to do it when relatively new. If it was me, I'd want a good explanation as to why the hard start was suddenly...

I did read it. The compressor ran fine for a month, then a problem. A hard start was then added. Why wasn't it needed immediately after the compressor was installed?? Seems odd to me......

Why would you have to pay anything on a one month old unit??? No warranty of any kind??? Something fishy here....
