    unfortuantely you can not estimate the subcooling by taking the discharge pressure. Recover the refrigerant weigh it and add taps to the LL.

    Use a Trane disharge air thermostat. Set it to 55 and set the program to control occ/unnocc modes. Let the reheat coils control themselves.
    Not the most efficient way but will work.

    The sensors go out of calibration, quite often. Carry a few on the truck like CG said.
