Ask him to check the subcooling and then how he came up with the correct subcooling temp. Then after the subcooling is correct have him check the superheat to check if the TXV is metering correctly....

So when you cut it out, the air entering the lineset is not introducing even more air? Seems the relatively small amount of moisture in the dryer couldn't compete with the amount of moisture entering...

You might need to switch a few things on that coil if its horizontal right... Look into the AHU manual.
