So it sounds like if I go the EL route there is no major Benefit to getting the I comfort thermostat If my filtrere Wi-Fi already has dual stage capabilities?

Besides the progressive increase in heat usage from 35 percent to 100 is there any other benefit to the SLP? I couldn't find any data on if that really saves you money over a 2 stage furnace.
