those bev-airs are very picky with what aftermarket parts you can use on them, almost have to use oem parts to reduce the headaches that aftermarket parts will cause in them

the older scotsmans with the timer you could manually set the harvest cycle, is that what your thinkin about?

Does the bin full light still blink after all the ice fallen? Yes you can check the eyes, i dont think thats your problem tho Was the harvest cycle time meaasured on a restart or was the unit...

i was more thinking of the ones i use, that u zip tie to the tray and sit in the water reservior. they last about 6 months. i think nu calgon makes it

have u tried any type of them slime control things on that ice machine? if not try them, they might help

the only thing that a bin control will do is enable you to regulate the ice level in the bin, that it, as icemeister said "you still need functional eyes." for the unit to operate they way...

i agree the new eyes are better than eyes that came with the black controller units...

i 'll take it its installed in the kitchen? i ve had a similar problem with a cme1356 for a few yrs, i found that using ice(slime )guards helped a great deal, stopped getting the "we got no ice"...
