its a preferance lots of people leave the fan on all the time. i cant say for sure if it helps or doesnt .

so your saying no matter if the hsi lights up or not it will open the gas valve. i always thought the hsi had to build up a sertin amout of resistance befor the gas valve opened.

i wouldnt recomend a burnham, for the last 3 years we have been putting in bryant boilers they are a really nice boiler no majior problems havent had any crack they all burn really nice.
