Thanks Jason. That is what I thought we might have to do. I was not sure if anyone had found a way without a heater.
We have an installation that due to no inside drains near the furnaces, we piped the drain lines outside. They keep freezing.
This was before I got here and I would have never done it this way.

Has anyone ever installed a changable core drier shell on the liquid line of a chiller to clean up acid in the system. The reason I ask is a customer has a quote from one of the Manufactures to do...
I would have a tech ohm out the compressor to make sure the windings are ok. The other suggestion of putting temp power is also a good one.
It shoud be ready to go like new!:)
