If you want accuracy and no noise, drag out that Simpson in the roll-top case. If you don't have a Simpson, you haven't been in the field long enough.

I have had that beep save alot of footsteps when I couldn'see a switch from the unit. Wouldn't have any other meter. You will love the features like mfd and flame rod checking. It's a good meter.

Don't you have to charge R-404 as a liquid?? I can't see any need to cut off condenser fans.

I know all plenum coils leak eventually and if this coil was older than 1 year, I'd push replacing it. If the contractor and his Hispanic installers would do the right thing,I wouldn't be worried...

Thanks for the info. I won't replace a good coil of this age, and the customer really don't have alot of money to spend on this. Besides they'll need a plenum when the coil is eventually replaced....

Why are you letting flex lay in insulation? Pick it up and hang it where it doesn't touch anything except the start collar and the box at the other end.

There are alot of reasons why a coil gets dirty.The trick is keeping it clean along with the air in the house.

If it has a Honeywell Smart Valve check the wiring from the valve to the board. A loose wire here can drive you nuts.

I've seen this rocking in almost all ECM motors.Since these motors have more poles than older non ECM motors you feel the closer together poles as a bumping when rotated.
