It the new single pulse super efficient fireplace. lol
You wont always get a CO reading in the airstream but that does NOT mean that it isn't a lethal situation. Either use a combustion analyzer to figure out where/what your problem is or get someone...
Daikin sells a flare gauge, I use it on every mini install. It is the only way you can ensure a repeatable proper flare.
Testo 327 and NCI combustion training
Yes.... Every one. I start with the CA on C &C now so if there is a bad HX I don't waste a lot of time cleaning a furnace I'm going to replace.
I have installed multiple zoned systems along with new duct systems and can have the upstairs colder than the downstairs on a 95* day. If your duct is designed right and you have figured out the...
I have used these in the past for special applications (walk-out basements, commercial property to avoid zero turn lawn mowers). I also mount rubber isolators to the brace and bolt the condenser to...
I have been installing Fan Hnandler controls for 15 years with great success. I like how they operate a psc mtr. and the only reason I have not installed a ecm modulator is because the local and...
Brings a whole new meaning to "custom" ductwork!
They get a pretty good buck for those dollies but it is a serious consideration. Thanks
I am thinking about buying one (just herniated a disc). How do you like it? Does it have safties so you won't roll down the stairs too fast? Is it heavy? Tell me more.
Ok what is it?
You could also install a 2H/ 2C stat and a seperate control transformer and wire one 1st stage and the other 2nd stage. I have a system like this and I run continus blower on both to keep temps even.
That will certianly help speed up the trouble shooting when the customer calls complaining about noise lol.
I have found that by installing the restrictor in the intake improves combustion quite a bit. The manual says to install the restrictor on vent that is 10' or less, on all 40k furnaces some 100k...
:cheers:When we can all agree on something maybe we should see about a large volume discount.
So if you follow the manual your good to go and if you follow the manual and check w/ CA and your oxygen is 12% at least you checked? I used to do it the same way before I bought my CA and knowing...
The first stage isn't typically the most efficient way to heat the house. I'm not saying you can"t fine tune first stage but from what I have seen second stage is more efficient.
I have a TESTO 327 w/ printer and it was $1200 new.
The only way to know for sure is with a combustion analyzer. If you don't own one ask someone you work with to come over and verify the combustion.
Although I like the idea....light, insulated, smooth surface that won't come apart in air stream.
I think it's home made because you can not have exposed foam in any installation that I am aware of. The reason is it's highly toxic when it burns so it always has to be covered.
A digital meter is great but I double check my measurements w/ a U-Tube manometer to ensure accuracy. U-Tube never needs batteries or calibration.
DO you have a Battries Plus store near you? I had my Dewalt battries rebuilt w/ larger capacity cells for less $ than buying new ones.
This is a special situation where my mother ownes an appartment building so if I tell them the furnace needs repair they will authorize the repair. I have two new HX on the truck but have not been...
