sounds like a crack in secondary..... and when you pull that cover off, you'll probably find little rings off the primary. Take a CO test in the flue pipe, it should be less than 100 ppm. or 400...

Put a CO tester in the exhaust vent. Maximum is 100 .......or 400 free air... you could be seeing 1200 and that my friend is a secondary problem. Carrier seems to have these problems big time...

ok fellers, got this nordyne furnace 80% and the fuse in the circuit board blows immediately following a buzzing coming from the board. checked everything for a grounding and nothing found.......

the 3 and the 4 in the model number is supposed to be the blower size.... the same model number on motor and squirrel cage ... ya got me there. Maybe someone at the factory put the wrong one in?
