Give them even more than two weeks. Try a month just to be more than fair, and it also gives you more time to get your finances in order & shop around for what you want to do.
Best advice I can...
I recommend you give a RL-4 or RL-8 series vacuum pump a go.
They will pull a vacuum down to 15 microns with fresh oil and a good quality digital vacuum gauge connected.
Hey Cold Joe,
Good Advice, but I know Coca-Cola is currently in the process of changing their ENTIRE distribution chain to HC refrigerants.
The US market will probably be last ironically enough....
Made in China by a company called Zensen.
I do admit to liking the sturdy carry handle and the Hummer-ish looks though.
I still cannot post pictures for the Selfie blog....
What am I doing wrong or is a setting on my profile?
Yes, I agree. Most DFS are inherently more efficient than a ducted system, but except for the hidden ones, most Americans myself included would rather see a bar-style supply register...
Spot on! JPSmith.
In the Parma, Petro-Chemical, and food production especially dairy, nearly all the welded / braised piping connections are first filled with a, "forming gas"
of one type or...
Yea, they are Class 2A refrigerants here also.
And yes, you are spot on. It must be used with new systems designed for R-32. Not as a drop in or replacement refrigerant.
I second what JPSmith says.
You can vent R-600 and R-290.
Mostly, what I see in the field is a long hose connected to a valve running out through a window or doorway.
However, Just so you know...
Yea, some things are great, other things.... not so much. It all seems to balance out in the end though.
It just depends on what YOU think is important.
I was talking to a...
Figured it out.

On the first run it only got to 19 microns.
I switched the micron gauge because I know one of my test micron gauges leaks.
Second run with the same RL-2 pump 35 L/Min....
You are still on my list for field testing.
Yes, it will if you use the right and fresh oil and a good enough digital micron gauge.
Running a test right now so I can feel 100%...
I have been trying to get the distribution channel to realize the value in having a class 0.05% calibration gauge at every parts house. (Not sure if the correct picture is...
Man! What you all are saying is music to my ears.
All I hear is, "your tools are too expensive." We are not ready for that. It wont sell in this or that country. blah blah, blah.
There is hope. ...
I have spent some time in Saudi Arabia. I certainly do not like their brand of social control however, one thing that they do right is punish crime.
Steal something from a store and get...
Thanks for the kind reply Jmac,
I will attack one issue at a time.
Yes, the family structure.... lets not forget why its there in the first place.. In the old days the men bred and moved on....
Not quite yet.
maybe in 150 years.
Eventually, if science gets a free reign to experiment with humans. We will have genetically enhanced humans specifically born and bred for a purpose.
In part I agree with your sentiment. If a person is a lazy bum, then they will be very unlikely to change. Educated or not.
But I think you may be missing my greater point. Possibly I...
In 1932 a book was written about this by Aldous Huxley.
Brave New World.
It's worth a read.
In my humble opinion, the solution to crime and criminal activity is education. Please refer to my first point. If the mass public is educated, they can work. If they are working they...
I feel compelled to jump in on this one. Just trying to add constructive solutions rather than debate the cause of the problems.
With regards to public education, I believe the solution dear...
Craig & Junkhound,
Please see the attached. I was in a rush yesterday to get out of the office. This is what I really wanted to post for you.
Honeywell is in the mist of a marketing war to push...
Yes, they are definitely talking about R-1234yf.
I read just today(ACR News August 2013) that France in now allowing the (Mercedes)cars in it. The EU is in a bit of a pickle....
I'm am not sure if your comment is directed towards me. If so....
Not a lot to say. Mark pretty well summed it up. We have a couple of minor issues we are diligently working on...
I hear you Redback. I have spent thousands on my own tools and I hate it when one breaks without cause. Especially when it busts my knuckles!
Even the legendary Craftsman is crap these days. In my...
The SAE info is on a pay per view site.
I have the various SAE standards in a file, but I think I would surely violate some copyright law if I posted them here.
Although, I have been known to...
Very well beenthere,
I have been meaning to send you my credentials anyhow.

You make a couple of good points.
R-134A is predominantly in refrigeration. In HVAC it is mostly R-22 and R-410A which is what old-school said he will be looking for.
Hey Old School,
I wont take anything away from what has already been said so far. But, if you want one for free I have one at the corner of my desk. I had shipped back from the USA for testing....
That's Sweden, not Switzerland..... But I hear you.
Is this what you are looking for?
I tested the Digimon SE today to see about the R-4xx TP charts. to answer your question.
I pulled them randomly out of a box from production. 395651
Nice one iceman.
BTW I am still looking into the TP chart for R-4xx. I believe it has been fixed on the Digimon SE, but I am not 100% sure yet.
Will keep you posted.
Hang in there Ryan1088, you too Brent Ridley.
We have new products in the works at all times. More field testing will be necessary if I have anything to say about it.
I believe I can get fast...
One thing I noticed over here across the water is, all the service techs box up their manifold sets. Even the non-digital ones.
They don't hang them in the back of the van. That is...
You are right iceman; should have just left it alone. Beating a dead horse.
The shovel has been put away.
Anyways, I saw your comments both times regarding the R-4xx. I am not avoiding...
Well,.... some people like classic, Class 1 glycerin filled gauges like 391991392001
Others like digital technology.
Ford, Chevy, or Dodge argument.
People are different. They like to do...
I don't believe Steve said, "he blames the contractor and distributor for product failures." those are your words, not his.
What he did say was, "I believe we were at fault for...
My comments are interspaced with yours.
Ok, I will be the first to comment.
I've done several reviews on digital gauges via this website. I never even considered doing a review...
Below is the reply from REFCO USA. I think it is a fair explanation from a manufacturers point of view. Not trying to make any excuses, just the saying it the way it is. Anyone here...
Can you please give me a part # for that kit. I checked United Ref website and had no luck.
I appreciate your honest and direct feedback. I just printed and walked your comments into the CEO's office. I wanted him to see what people who work in the field say about REFCO...
Full disclosure here.......I do work for REFCO in Switzerland. Why not look at our new Digimon SE (second edition) I know we had lots of knobs breaking off our first digital manifold set and some...
Hey tech 45,
I agree with you, the 45 degree shoulder will be (wider /longer) if you pull a bit more copper through the clamp bar before you screw the flaring cone down. But here is my...
Braise it with silver solder.... That should do the job.
What kind of electronic leak detector are you using? You might consider getting a new one. The new technology will find a...
I have been reading the site for a while now and decided to join up. I have worked in the HVAC/R industry for 16 years. Mostly distribution on the West Coast for the big blue oval.
