Heres a dumb question, is the suction line cold and sweating. Im going to say the valves are bad.
If the S/A, meaning the air exiting the vents is 69 degrees, the R/A meaning were you probly change your filter should be 18 to 20 degrees warmer. Being an older model it may have a recip......
Not outside temp, acrossed coil, your delta t"s, 20 degree is perfect 18 is good. The difference between R\A and S\A, not the temp outside.
NO, UNLESS ITS 95 IN THE HOUSE, I WOULD TURN THEM BOTHOF TO PREVENT FURTHER DAMAGE AND CALL FOR A SECOND OPINION.
Lennox has a five yr parts warrenty, just on parts not labor. If the contractor is charging you for parts that is not rite. good luck.
I agree, it sounds like said system is overcharged, our a dirty component(coil, blower wheel) with the low temps, 13 degree superheat, sounds over charged.

Thread closed. To the OP, hope you get it worked out. You really should call a pro. Good luck.
410a is a freon it is a mixture, adding more 410a freon to an un-sealed machine will throw that mixture off, in turn will affect the performance of the refrigeration system, just saying.
The extreme overcharge was a wrong call from the other tech that added the freon, the problem was the coil for second stage failed, compressor would only run in first stage, I should of added that...

I can tell you this, you see why you were there in the first place changing that compressor.
Waw, the sad truth is you see work like that alot.
Wow Huh THats amazing.
Had a two stage 410A 3-ton, factory charge 4-5 pds, pressures hit 600 on head 80 degree day, pulled out 17-18 pds, had two change the compressor, original call was no air, I was there for second...
If its sparking not proving , fails to ignite, it may be as simple as dirty feeder tubes, sounds like everyone else has brought up every other posible problem.
I have had both using a fluke currently, I wish it had all the functions feildpiece has.
Alls we know is a duel fuel system is not working correctly, the best start is what are the #s of the machines, Including the model# of the comprosser, this info will let us know if it is a two stage...
